- Master’s degree holders are qualified for taking admission into the doctoral program. In spite of the fact that, for certain subjects, having a Masters in Philosophy (M.Phil) is required for a Ph.D. Candidates must note that in some Indian colleges, for Master’s program, a particular percentage (or equivalent CGPA) is needed by the aspirants to be qualified to apply for a Ph.D.
- For taking admission into some reputable Indian universities, an applicant must qualify the all India examination, like National Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET) directed by NTA. More than this, final year students of their qualifying master degree can also apply by submitting the attested copies of their qualifying degree certificates.
- Admissions in the PhD courses will be granted on the basis of interview. The interview might be supplemented with a written examination if required.
- Candidates must have a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2021) score to pursue Ph.D in the field of engineering and technology. Also, he/she should have completed their degree in M.Tech/ M.E in any engineering branch to apply for Ph.D in engineering.
